First Parent’s Night of the year is September 28th

Parents are essential to the success and functionality of the Skylight’s ministries. Parents provide a valuable source of guidance and support in the faith development of their children, thus we encourage parents to be active in their child’s experience at First Church.

To learn more about the experiences open to your child at First Church, read our ABC Parent Primer, which alphabetically explains our ministry and what it can do for your child, as well as hints to help you be involved in your child’s spiritual life.

Consent Form

Your child must have a Consent Form filled out, notarized, and turned in before attending their first trip (retreat, mission trip, or mystery trip). Print it out here and return it to the church office! It must also be updated at the beginning of each year. This consent form is in accordance with our New Youth Ministry Policies and Procedures. For all you UMYF veteran parents, this form is a little different, so be sure to look out for the changes.
