Parent’s Page
Parents are essential to the Skylight’s ministry because they provide a valuable source of guidance and support in the development of their children’s faith. We encourage parents to be active in their child’s involvement in The Skylight. One such way for parents to become involved is through the Parents’ Advisory Committee. This group meets quarterly on Sunday nights to discuss the direction the youth ministry is pointing. If you are interested in joining the Youth PAC, please contact us.
Consent Form
Students must have a current consent form filled out, notarized, and turned in before attending their first overnight trip each year. You can download the form and return it to the church office any time.

Youth Ministry Policies and Procedures
The FUMCO Youth and Children’s Ministry Policies and Procedures are the guide that all of our activities and programing adhere to. They outline, in detail, all processes to follow on Sunday nights, on trips, and in the event of an emergency. This is required reading for all potential volunteers and suggested for all parents.

Snack Supper
Snack Supper is the number one way that we involve parents in our ministry. Parents are assigned one Sunday a year to provide dinner at youth group. This allows parents to participate with us on a Sunday evening as well as feed the group.
