Now that Memorial Day is over, the summer is officially here! I know you’re excited. We’ve got an awesome summer planned and hope that you are able to participate in everything we do. This is where you’ll find information about everything we’re doing, and then some. Without waiting any longer: inJoy.

The following is written by our summer intern, Jennifer Nisbett!

As school ends and summer starts up we are getting ready for a summer full of learning about why we as Christians are able to have joy in all situations. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 commands us to “Be joyful always”, this doesn’t mean that all of our problems will disappear or that we won’t struggle, and we aren’t always going to be happy, but we can always have a joy that goes deeper than these struggles. My prayer is that by understanding and finding our identity in who Jesus is we will begin to understand this joy that is rooted in an overflowing love from our Savior.

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. – John 15:11

Sign Up for Summer Events

This year our sign up form is completely online. Fill out the form below checking off what you know you’ll be coming to and that’s it. To pay for events, bring a check addressed to FUMCO for the amount the next time you come to church, but no later than a week before an event. You don’t have to sign up to attend events, but it helps us to plan and makes things a lot easier. Enough talk. Here’s the form.
