2008 Summer Mission Trips

Calling all youth! The 2008 summer mission trips are coming! We’ll be taking nearly a hundred of you out around the country and around the world to serve other people in the name of God. This is the biggest thing we do each year and it’s a very exciting time in our youth group.

We are now taking registrations for the summer mission trips. You can sign up for each trip by putting down a $100 deposit. The final payment is due June 1st!

Mission Trip Destinations

Sixth Grade
Our sixth graders will be returning to TEAMeffort on the Golden Isles this summer to help with the Brunswick community. This year’s team will be staying in cabins that were built by our 2005 sixth graders! The sixth grade trip is June 8-14 and costs $280 (Full Amount) per person.

7th & 8th Grade
Our 7th & 8th grade team is going back to ReCreation Experiences in Asheville, NC. There they will help repair homes in the rural Ashville community. The 7th & 8th grade trip is July 12-20 and costs $380 (Full Amount) per person.

High School
The high school team will be traveling to New Orleans to work with CrossRoads Missions. They’ll work to repair homes in the devastated central city area. The high school trip is July 12-20 and costs $250 (Full Amount) per person. [NOTE: This is a cheaper price than originally advertised!]

Mission Leadership Team
The MLT will be traveling to Eleuthera Island, Bahamas to work with Methodist Habitat in repairing and rebuilding houses destroyed in recent hurricanes and other disasters.
